PANDEMIC of 2020

Possible Treatment for Novel Coronavirus

Saul

A possible treatment was mentioned during the daily coronavirus press conference1https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWxW0edricU, hydroxychloroquine2https://www.iodine.com/drug/plaquenil, which is commonly used against autoimmune diseases. I’m not sure what the exact game plan is for its use at the moment. It was mentioned that production of this drug will be increased to meet potential demand. Reports concerning the drugs relevance have been made in Cell Discovery and Clinical Infectious Diseases1,2. France begun extended tests earlier this week3https://france3-regions.francetvinfo.fr/provence-alpes-cote-d-azur/bouches-du-rhone/marseille/coronavirus-stade-3-traitement-chloroquine-efficace-professeur-raoult-ihu-marseille-1792037.html.
